Review: WAY darker than pictured. - Really nice ukulele - great quality.....BUT it is MUCH darker than what is in the picture - it's beautiful still, but one of the reasons I purchased this one is that we are using it as a guestbook for my daughter's Maui wedding and wanted to have guests sign with black Sharpies. This is sooooo much darker that there is no way black sharpie would even show up on it. We will now have to use white paint markers and these have a high chance of smearing because it will have to be a wet, white ink, rather than a typical fast drying sharpie. Didn't want to give it a low rating just because of that, because it is a beautiful piece.

Amazing product. Looks great. Feels great sounds amazing. Love the details in this. If you’re looking for an entire level ukulele and want to grow with it. Look no further. Really nice ukulele - great quality.....BUT it is MUCH darker than what is in the picture - it's beautiful still, but one of the reasons I purchased this one is that we are using it as a guestbook for my daughter's Maui wedding and wanted to have guests sign with black Sharpies. This is such a great little uke. It’s really nice looking and sounds great. I choose the one with the etching of the Hawaiian Islands, since that is where I was born. The Aquila strings have a rich sound, and the action is such that the uke is easy to play. Great quality for a great price.
