The material is very thin and somehow I got blacken finger after used. (I guess I was holding the edge and somehow it has some oil or something.. not sure as I washed it before use) You really need to put some pressure in order to get your juice out. Lemon works the best. If you want a manual juicer and a low price but don't care about the quality, that will be it. This reamer is perfect for getting every bit of the juice out of my medium to large lemons and the strained juice collects in the bowl. Oh, the bowl has two pour lips so it fits righties and lefties. Frustrated after trying to juice a lemon that all the liquid was getting trapped at the top with the pulp, I tested it with water. For some reason, maybe surface tension, only half of the little holes let the water through, the rest gets stuck on the top.
