I was using a wax stick for my hair, which would hold, but looked shiny and greasy and clumped hairs together. This product is almost unnoticeable when using. It is a matte finish and when applying it goes on almost as a gel, but once it dries it hardens and holds the hair nicely. The only thing I don't like is that throughout the day strands of hair begin to fall down. I think once I use this more and begin to get the feel for it, I will be applying more than I am now. Also, it washes out very easily, even with just water.The bottle is very small, I would recommend buying a few of them. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Hold but Sticky Application *by M***I on June 27, 2020* Styling into medium-length hair with a light prestyler.Scent: Unscented.Consistency: Extremely creamy.Application: Goes into the hair smoothly at first, but then becomes a bit sticky.Styling: It's a bit tough to move your hair around while styling due to the waxy/sticky texture, but you can definitely achieve a desired style.Finish: A great hold with fairly low shine. It adds some texture, but it's more the hair sticking together than flowing together. I think the tube is going to last me for a long time.(2) smell: there is not muddy clay smell like some other clays. It has a slight scent, not strong and smells nice(3) wash: I have tried Sebastian before and it's very hard to even to wash off the remaining from my hands. 1979 clay is fairly easy to wash offOverall I am very satisfied with this clay.
