I have used it quite a few times and each time it impresses me just how good of an edge you can get in seconds. The product is very versatile and can be used to sand or sharpen almost anything within reason. It has plenty of speed/power and I have never needed to crank it on to full. The button has a handy lock feature so you can work with both hands. The belt rollers are adjustable so you can work at different angles if required and it also has adjustment for the alignment of the belt itself. It comes supplied with a good variety of belts maybe 25 in total ranging from about 120 or 240 up to 1000 grit. The adjustable sharpening angles seem to work pretty well so far for me. So the negatives of which I found it to have 2, the first one can be worked around easily and its the power cord isn't very long it seems decent quality cord but maybe a few extra feet would have been nice. Second and this is probly the worse is the sharpener has a tendency to scratch your knifes, this happens as you draw your blade against the angled plates while sharpening. I think this is from particles of grit from the belt gets dislodged and settles on the guides and as you draw the knife through it scratches them. I use a paint brush to dust inside the jaws/guides to remove anything that may cause scratches, and then use some masking tape to cover the face of the guide to try eliminate scratches from happening.
