This product has definitely picked up a few drills that have fell deep in the water ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Phone Tether, but Unreliable Carabiner *by C***R on February 11, 2025* Purchased an "Ergodyne Squids 3002 Retractable Tool Lanyard with Locking Carabiner, Straps to Attach to Belt or Harness, Gray, Standard". The orange "safety" collar is spring loaded such that you have to rotate 90° and hold it in that position to open the carabiner. However, the spring in my collar failed after a dozen uses and the collar freely rotates. I removed the carabiner and attached a much smaller clip that I attach to a tether tab on my phone, and it is a great solution for this.
