Review: Great Starter Kit - Perfect Starter Kit for Little Hands! This soap kit is a dream for introducing young ones to the world of crafting. With simple instructions and easy-to-use materials, children can unleash their creativity while learning the basics of soap-making. The scents are lemon and green apple which are both very light in fragrance. You do have to work fast if you plan to layer colors, there was plenty of soap left over that I was able to use my own personal molds - Jack Skellington! I didn’t use the glitter simply because of the disclaimer on the label, it’s not dissolvable so this likely would be a mess. Overall, I would recommend this product.
Review: Fun! - Fun and easy to make. Perfect gift for 8 and 10 year olds! Would buy again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are there instructions somewhere ??**
A: Mine came with instructions. It's pretty simple. Melt the soap and die it, add scent. Pour into its mold. It's not really "soap making" as much as "soap melting". It melts in the microwave and we had to keep popping it in because it cools pretty fast too.

**Q: Do the ingredients contain any allergens? Specifically, does it contain soy?**
A: Online wax is listed as only material from the box this also includes: "phenoxyethenol, polyethylene terephthalate, polymethyl methacrylate, sodium hydroxide.." Smells like gasoline to me right out of the package. In my opinion NOT HEALTHY for kids or adults. ~Dr Sara King

**Q: how many soaps can you make?**
A: You can make 8 soaps with this kit.

**Q: Are the included beakers microwaveable?**
A: Can't answer. It was a gift

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fine set
*by D***D on July 8, 2025*

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nice DIY soap kit, and is simple enough to do at home. Although, I don't have a microwave, so I had to improvise by melting the soap base in a porcelain bowl, with the bowl placed in a small pot on the stove. It's quite dangerous that way, so keep children away if you do. It takes some practice with the timing, because the glycerin hardens really quickly. I would mostly recommend this IF you have a MICROWAVE. It would be a lot simpler (and probably safer). Otherwise, it's too annoying on a stove. Nonetheless, for a way to make soap in a simple, introductory way, it was a good pick to do with my daughter. You can gift the soap to a friend, or use at home! :)
