I installed the extra 2x50s by reversing the box. Bowflex does not authorize this according to their website. But regardless - I'm wondering about the comments on the tension actually not being 310 lbs but only 155 lbs (1/2 the total). Can anyone verify this? I'll be bummed as I've been using it for 18 months. **Q: Do these rods come with lower attachment box? The part that attaches to machine.** A: The machines come with the 210-lb rod box. The rod box has two open slots to add more rods, thats for the 310-lb upgrade. The 410-lb upgrade rods come pre attached to a small rod box with a plate that attaches to the 210-lb rod box. **Q: My Blaze came with 210 lbs with room for 2 more 50 lb. rods or 310 total.
