We discovered (following my lung biopsy) that it was due to a severe allergic reaction. While we aren't sure what the allergy was at that time, I have discovered that I am now allergic or reactive to a number of items, including dust.I wasn't sure whether or not dust mites were a problem but we decided to buy this product to wash our sheets in. Not only are the sheets fresher smelling, I've ceased my long coughing jags that I had previously been having when it was time to go to bed.While some of the improvement is due to my recovery from my illness, a good part is also from the use of this product. I bought the 8 ounce to begin with but will be buying the largest size from now on and will be using it to launder other items as well. A little goes a long way, especially when using it with an HE washer. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Stains, but safer for quilts than steam sanitize. *by E***N on January 12, 2019* We have two quilts we wash with the mite control additive. The quilts are wearing less using the additive v.s. steam sanitizing them. The full color quilt still looks great. However, the quilt with white fabric has notable brown spots. Everytime I wash the quilt with the additive the white fabric gains additional staining. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Laundry additive *by D***N on June 7, 2018* I have tried a few different dust mite additives and find this one to be the best one for me.
