After installing it improved my hole shot when towing tubes or skiers allowing a faster plane. Secondly it greatly mitigated porpoising which means the front of the boat bounces up and down. Lastly I am able to tow tubes at a lower speed which makes it great for younger kids or first timers on the tube. I would recommend this product for anyone experiencing similar issues. When I arrived back at the marina I found the metal bracket that holds the fin to the lower units cavitation plate had broken off and was dangling.
