I read other reviews on this product and thought it would make a great gift.The leather is a nice deep chocolate brown, which I preferred because it wouldn't show spots and spills. The slipper is only slightly tight/narrow when they arrived, especially at the seams -- like all new leather. After wearing them for a few hours, the leather has begun to give and fits the shape of my foot perfectly.The lining is a nice cream colored pile, Thick enough to provide warmth all through the shoe, but not too thick that I can't wear socks if I want to. The shoe also has a hard sole, which makes it perfect for a brief trip outside. Since this is suede leather, I'd be careful about going out in the rain or snow though - not only for the staining, but the shoe will loose its shape and great fit.Other than the sole, the slipper is soft all over, there's no "rub" on the back of the ankle either. For those who can't wear hard shoes or have foot or circulation problems, these slippers can be a good substitute shoe, especially in darker colors, since they are both comfortable and attractive.I made my purchase on the Amazon during the Black Friday sale. There were some problems with the site and my shipping address was wrong. I immediately contacted Amazon through chat and the Amazon seller "ShoeMall" by phone. They resolved my problem, and my order arrived at my corrected address quickly.Shoemall customer service was very nice. Amazon chat was busy, but polite and efficient. I thought maybe if I wear them enough eventually they will stretch out due to the material..?... which I have had them a couple weeks now and wear almost daily and they have stretched some to wear they fit me comfortably and do not hurt anymore. In the meantime I ordered a second pair in the size 8, which turned out to be a pinch too big, so I guess I boogered that up but I love them and are wearing them both anyway :-)Only problem is unless you doubleknot the laces they will come undone constantly.. when tying one the lace snapped in half. :-( ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and warm slippers! *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2015* My girlfriend wanted a pair of slippers that were soft and comfortable but that were also easy to slip on and off and fit over the entire foot. These fit the bill nicely. She wears them often... in fact, they're so comfortable that she's accidentally worn them out of the house to the grocery store, work, etc. way too many times to count. They have a fairly sturdy bottom to them, so that hasn't proved to be an issue. The only problem is that one of our dogs had an accident on one of her slippers, and she had to wash them. They did NOT wash well. Perhaps they should've gone on a different setting, but we put them in on the "delicate" cold setting of our washer. They curled up somewhat. They're still wearable, but they're perhaps not quite as comfortable for her as they were before.
