Review: These work fine but the clip should lock - how to fix that - These work fine, but they are even better with a few adjustments. I personally prefer a clip that has a lock, like the ones used for babies to hold their pacifiers, as they do not pull off easily. I bought a bag of pacifier clips cheap on desertcart and replace the clip that comes with these. They have a larger end (they are made for ribbons rather than this type of cord), but they work fine. For those who want to prevent loss using the existing clip, take the silicone cord out and fold it in half. Insert the center area of that folded cord into the hole about an inch, then pull the rest of the cord through that loop. I then put the silicone ring over the tied area. If it is not staying, you can tie a knot too but I try to avoid that as it wears the silicone over time. This method is also what I use to attach the cord to pacifier holders. Just make sure that you put the lanyard through your hearing aids in a place where it will not accidentally turn your hearing aids off or change the volume. My ones have a rocker switch and I put the loop ends into the center of that. My audiologist says that method is fine -- you just don't want to get the cord ON the ends of the rocker switch. Different hearing aids may require different placement. I've attached a picture of what mine looks like with a pacifier clip. I did use a knot on the very end, but the cord is old and needed a more secure hold. Hope this helps. Hopefully the company will change the current clip to a locking one, but all clips break eventually and having a bag of clip replacements gives you years of service on one cord.
Review: Prevents Losing Hearing Aids! - We got this after our mom decided to take off her over-the-ear hearing aids and drop them in a cup of coffee. Since then, she's tried to repeat that feat with her new hearing aids but, thanks to the lanyard, been unable to do it. I'm impressed at how well the little plastic bands grip the body of the hearing aids; they stay right where I initially positioned them and don't slide and cover parts of the hearing aid they shouldn't.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have any anti lost lanier for the other types of hearing aids**
A: Pretty small, but it’s very stretchy. I had no trouble getting it around the hearing aid.

**Q: How wide is the loop?**
A: If you mean the loop that goes around the hearing aid, about 1/8 inch. Because they stretch they will fit most aids.

**Q: Does the loop fit a Phonak new high end Hesring aide?**
A: I’m not sure. I use ReSound hearing aids. I like the clips however, Phonak makes device tape. It works quite well actually. The tape is two sided. It sticks to the device and to your skin behind the ear. They can be found on Amazon.

**Q: Can these be clipped to the front of clothing? My 101 year old father has lost multiple pairs and may not be able to reach around to the back of shir**
A: Yes, I think so, but maybe not to a low neckline. The leash is about 9-10 inches long on each side, but can be adjusted to put more of it on one side if that helps. The clip is easier for my mom to use than many others. I just wonder if it would be in the way in the front.

### ⭐⭐⭐ I'd prefer the ease of the former elasticity over the struggle with the updated product.
*by B***D on October 19, 2025*

These were changed from the ones got last time on which one of the loops broke, prompting me to order a replacement. These that I just received, the loops are so tight that it is a real struggle to get my hearing aids in them and then to get the hearing aids in their charger so they charge properly. A couple of time already, I've placed those in the charger still in the loops and, although the aids were charging after I did that, apparently to tension from the loops was so intense that by morning the loops had squeezed the aid up so that they were no longer charging and not operable when I went to put them in. Surely, there's a happy medium where they'll still hold the hearing aids to protect from loss but still allow them to charge.
