All is good now and the Plus models are much improved. **Q: Does this model have the spring grip that is described as defective?** A: Both of my stands have “spring grip” and I’ve never had a problem with mine. **Q: I bought one from guitar center, and it has the hercules box which is tightly packed. Just making sure same box they use. Is it?** A: Yes, the box is the same as the models sold in Guitar Center or any other big box music supply store. **Q: Will this also work for electric guitars or are we supposed to buy GS415B?** A: It will work for others electric and acoustic.
