This lamp is very fragile and is not made well. As long as you don't move it around much it works great. ### ⭐ but it did not even come close to meeting my expectations of what a cheap lamp should be like. The shade is made of a very flimsy paper-like plastic. The bottom is also a very cheap, light plastic and makes for a very unstable base. It's too tall and skinny and top heavy and tips over really easily. My girls tipped it over and the light bulb melted the plastic and it almost started a fire. If you insist on buying this I would recommend only using and LED bulb that doesn't get hot. It shorts out frequently and we always have to adjust the cord a million times to get it to work. It doesn't look nearly as nice as in the picture. Unfortunately it stopped working after a couple weeks. Returned it, no problem, got a replacement, which worked for just under 2 months, then quit suddenly, just like the other. It sits on a bookshelf, the only thing we've done is turn it off and on, so I have no explanation for why it stops working. Of course the return policy is only for 30 days, so we're out the money.
