Thought I would have to throw away my Vax as I couldnt find a charger. Vax have apparently stopped making this charger. Found it easily on Amazon. Prompt delivery. Well pleased as it looks like a good quality charger.

This charger was advertised as being compatible with a Vax SlimVac model TBTTV1D1. Be advised that it is only compatible with the 18v model not the 22v one.  The charger head is too small for the latter. Apparently, and very frustratingly, Vax have stopped making the charger for that.

Well there's nothing really to get excited about with a charger, but works well and it took me ages to find the right one. All in all a good piece of kit.
