Applied to a self-built guitar and I am quite impressed of the sound. Clear, powerful and sounds between the tones of a single coil and humbucker as expected. Why I say don't get caught out. these are ceramic pickups but the product name is Alnicov which could very easily be miss taken for Alnico V magnets referring to none ceramic pickups. The give a way being the price.
