Exactly what I wanted. They are pretty firm, very little squish. I saw a lot of reviews saying it was hard to put together, but that wasn't my experience at all. It took me about 20 minutes. The hardest part was the bolts that are up against the seat bottom, because you can't spin the allen wrench, so it's 3/4 turn, take it out, flip it around, and do it over again, so that was time consuming. Everything lined up well and was easy to do. I needed a phillips screwdriver and a hammer (to remove shipping cleat on one piece). It was simple and straightforward.The chair looks nice and seems to be sturdy. Very happy with this purchase overall. My only complaint was that Amazon sent it via USPS instead of UPS or something, so I had to make time to go to the post office and pick up the big box instead of it being delivered to my house. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Style and quality *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2023* I love these stools.
