The unit has multiple functions and all work as advertised. I dont use the door chime but it has decent range. Base unit is the size of a man's wallet, maybe a little bigger, and I highly suggest using the mounting plate which comes with it because the adhesive is not very strong in climates with wide temperature variations. As far as the motion sensor is concerned, it is very sensitive which is necessary for a proper alarm. Range is about 15-20 feet. Arming the system is accomplished by setting a switch on the top of the base unit. The drawback is that there is no way to remotely disable the unit, so to disarm you inevitability set the alarm off, and it's fairly loud. Unit is battery operated, so change the batteries regularly. Not an IoT device, so no network connectivity (but therefore no technical security concerns).TL;DR - a basic, multi-function unit that works very well but lacks some convenience features.
