A: You will need a dump load resistor. Missouri wind and solar have an excellent help department, and will have what you need to run it properly. Ditch the factory supplied controller; you’ll thank me later.

**Q: What wind speed in miles per hour does it begin to produce power?**
A: I am told by customer service, in excess of 10 mph sustain wind speeds are needed. However, I could have misinterpreted as bad translation from Chinese.
