This produces a flatter and better final finish with wax/oil etc. I think you should do a tiny test first, sand and repeat. **Q: Can I Effectively spray nitro cellulose over this?** A: The answer i no you cant spray cellulose over this because the sanding sealer is water based and the cellulose would be oil based so its basically oil and water which will seseperate or it might give an effect called fish eye which is a form of seperating.i dont know what nitro cellulose is, never heard of it .regards john ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wood seal *by R***. on 19 August 2026* Spot on product 'it does what it says 'seals the wood grain before final laquer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant *by H***! on 21 November 2025* Excellent quality and value for money.
