Made a king size American Beech bed from trees in our woods behind our house. Left the wood to season for 2 weeks and after skinning the bark off with the draw knife. well made and works great. wish the curve of the blade had a larger radius. won't do the larger tree trunks. still great for the smaller ones. wish the radius was specified in the listing. it's a tighter curve than is shown in the photo.

This draw knife is well built but will have to see how it holds up over time. It is pretty dull but I'm sure because of liability they aren't going to ship one with a razor edge. If you are crafty enough to use a draw knife I'm guessing you can sharpen one. I bought the wider curved knife because I wasn't sure if it was going to be a knuckle buster or not. Can't wait to give this one some exercise and see how the blade holds up. So far, so good.
