I'm so glad to own this book! Although of coffee table type it is not too bulky for her to handle.She enjoyed all the pictures and learning about the craftsmanship in making the dresses and hats. Her 95year old spouse, still a very active reader, picked it up out of curiosity and reported he liked reading about how royal trips and wardrobe dept. are organized. I also think some of the appeal was that the Queen is a contemporary of theirs and someone they have read about, not necessarily in a focused way but in simply following the news, for many years. Not many of their contemporaries are still active.
