I highly recommend this metronome. The Seiko SQ60 Metronome is battery operated with 2 AAA batteries, which last a long time.. There's no need to recharge. There are two striking features about this metronome. It has a DIAL! It's so much speedier to change metronome markings using a dial. I much prefer this over push-button metronomes. Also, it has a full range of volume adjustments, from very soft to very loud. Many of the electronic metronomes are just not loud enough. It's very well made and study, but portable enough to be tossed into my backpack.
