Films may have a top protective layer to avoid scratches during shipping, it needs to be removed before application. It is safe to use on metalized or painted surface with added benefit of protecting the paint from light rock chips or scratches, however, it might not stick well to some surfaces such as rubber, plastic material and more. The vinyl can be applied using dry application and can be heated up using a heat gun on curved areas. The expected performance life is approx 3-5 years, we recommend removing it after 3 years for clean removal.
