[8 1/2] one last pair and I bought them. Now if you are going to wear thick socks with them, because they are lined, I would get a whole size larger, but they fix me fine with knee Hi's on. Very stylish. I love them.I did not really notice the arch support, but if not I can always buy something to put inside. My girlfriend did say she could not wear them for a long period of time if she was just standing around, but they were comfortable for walking or sitting. Maybe she needs an arch support in them. They are darling looking on and I get a lot of complements. I bought these to wear when it's snowy out and I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8.5 so I could wear them with thicker socks to keep my feet warm while playing in the snow with my kids. These run small! Even sizing a half size up, I can only wear regular socks with them and there is no insulation on the foot of this boot. Nice warm insulation around the top quilted part, but that ends where the foot begins, which is kind of strange. The sole is also not very thick and you feel every stone you step on by the toes and ball of your foot. These boots are great for keeping your feet dry on cooler wet days, however not very practical for trudging through any snow unless you size up at least one whole size and wear double socks! ### ⭐⭐ I initially like them, as well as the price point *by P***W on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2016* I initially like them, as well as the price point. They were hard to pull on at the point where the foot is sewn to the shaft. After 3d day, the seam at that connection became and issue and 'bit' my foot. Tried to still wear them as work boots (snow shoveling steps, bird feeder fills, etc.). That stopped, too. Hard explanation: The inside of the quilted shaft seemed to shift and would pull up, or bulk oddly in areas. Sensation like when a bad sock keeps sliding down in a boot and bunching up.
