That is an all plastic shell. As others have said and shown, the cases have cracked and fallen apart, especially if kept on a ring with keys. So I've kept mine on my spare key ring that pretty much just sits in my glovebox and use it as needed.The K25 has a metal ring around the entire perimeter and what looks to be a crimped key ring hole. Very nice. This will be going on my primary key ring and carried every day. I expect it will hold up just fine. I've registered it on a dozen accounts and so far no issues with USB via PCs and phone, plus NFC and BT via phone. It comes with a mini usb to USB-A which of course doesn’t work on any modern Mac.For iOS you need Google Smart Lock app which is the worst buggiest app I think I have ever used. I was never able to pair my device using it. There are multiple screens in the app where you get stuck forever and can’t go back. You have to force kill the app and start over.
