Almost too tightly. *by G***E on June 20, 2020* The book is sturdy and has information about the collection on the back and inner pages. It holds two quarters for each design. This let's you include coins from the Denver and the Philadelphia mint. It holds the coins tightly. My concern is that it holds the coins too tightly. They are very difficult to insert. I was able to insert them by putting them in slightly and tapping firmly with a rubber mallet. The mallet didn't appear to damage the coins but it's going to be difficult to know for sure until they are removed. This isn't a big deal to me as I am not collecting as an investment. I just like the coins. We're I buying them for investment, I would look for a different storage method. Still, I think for casual collectors or for kids or grandkids, that this is a good tool.
