In that purpose it works fine with my galaxy S6 edge. Now for the problems I bad with this headset was that my S6 edge would actually side out of the holder I guess because of the smooth sides which almost cause me to crack my phone (but I didn't BTW :) ) The other problem which was major is the fact that this version doesn't come with a nose pad for your viewing pleasure. After just 30 minutes it dug into the bridge of my nose and left a mark and it definitely hurt. After a day it went away but still hurts in that area.
