So I upped the amount to two capsules per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.After doing this since February 2nd, today is February 18th, I see some difference, a subtle glow, a clearing that seemed to go beyond all my peels and other face care paraphernalia. I can't remember seeing that calming of my skin, that sort of baby glow before. If you are 59 and thinking one of these will work per day and you will see results in 60 days don't bet on it. I sure didn't! Nada, nothing! But up the dosage and I think you will see a subtle difference within at least 16 days. I have since purchased another brand to see if it is more effective since this says it has rice powder in it but doesn't directly say it has the derived phytoceramides that rice produces in sufficient amounts. I know it has sweet potato phytoceramides;however, all the studies that showed real improvement used rice and the dosage is lower as well with the rice derived phytoceramides. I'll update on how this is progressing and also on how the pure rice derived phytoceramides, which are more expensive, works (one drawback of the rice derived phytos:price). I gave this four stars because it finally did start working only not on the dosage of one capsule per day. If I had given it a rating based on the 1 capsule dosage over 60 days I would have given it a 2 star rating. Yes I know it says it takes 90 days to see improvement but surely at 60 days you should be able to tell something?? Does something miraculous happen on the 90th day? I have PCOS and get hormonal jawline/neck acne (which is much different from regular acne and resistant to most external products) and was hoping this might help with that, but I didn't see any improvement.On a good note, I went to an event a few nights ago and the first thing my sister-in-law said to me (who I have not seen in about 2 months), was "Oh my goodness, look at your face! Majority of the reviews were good so I gave it a try. I chose this brand because it was made from sweet potatoes. Although I am not sensitive to gluten; I just try to limit wheat because I do get a bit bloated from it sometimes. I did not see immediate results & did not expect to see since I read it takes time. I am 58 years old and do not have deep lines so diminishing lines is not that noticeable yet. I have always had oily skin with large pores At my age, my skin is not as oily & seems to be getting drier, pore size a bit larger and the texture seems not as smooth as it used to be. I've been using this product since the end of January 2014 (about 2 1/2 months now) and have noticed skin seems a little softer and not as dry. Even the pore size seems to be getting smaller. I had a bad break out of eczema on my scalp & since I have been using this product, it has gone away. It has always improved with medicine, but never went completely away. Since it took care of the eczema, I am very happy! And with skin slightly improving, I will continue to take this product.
