Got the coyote color, same color as my USMC issued gear. Adjusting it is a little difficult, guess its the thickness of the straps but whatever. My pup is about 67 lbs, 2 yrs old, and I can pick her up holding the end straps easily, not that she enjoys it though. Clips are pretty solid even though they are hard plastic. Love the Cobra buckles.I put on two 2qt canteens from a surplus store attached by alligator clips and and an "alligator clip to MOLLE" converter on there. Don't remember what the converter is called. Also put a 5.11 6 X 6 Pouch, Flat Dark Earth and 5.11 Tactical #58715 MED Pouch, Flat Dark Earth on it as well. Both are pictured in the attachments. Bought the BlackHawk #3 pouch speed clips to go with it...doesn't work. I think #4 will work but didn't bother to try since I have the set up pretty good. Only problem is alligator clips suck and sometimes let canteen drop lower.She carries this thing around no problem when completely filled. Med pouch has survival gear in it, other pouch holds a collapsable water bowl, leash, poop bags, and whatever else. Canteens always filled. Only problem she has is when one of the canteens is slightly less full than the other, vest slights one direction easily. She goes up and down hills, makes small/large jumps, and walks over any terrain (including walking tree logs when river crossing) no problems with this thing on. Easy to grab her if I need to and don't have a leash connected too.Dries fast, been in water a few times swimming and no problems so far. Had this about 4 months so far. No tears, smells, or color change. Haven't gone on an all day trip yet with it, but farthest distance we hiked was for 4-5 hours with no issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good vest.. We like it a lot.. Fits my 80# male GSD very well with room to expand.. adjustments somewhere near the middle of the range. Put a few med-pouches and 1 liter Nalgene bottle holders onboard, however, my GSD walks very close to me and the pouches and bottle holder on his right side keeps racking my left leg when we go out on our treks.. so for now, until I get him trained, I have temporarily remove them and he just wears the vest.. so some training will be required for at least my boy..I don't think I had it initially fitted.. even though there was only maybe 1-cup short in one side bottle holder the vest started leaning to one side. The belly straps were not tight at the time. I've since tightened them up but I haven't tested them with the bottles yet. I don't believe the vest belly-straps supposed to be too tight but they cannot be moderately tight or the load will shift easily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Practically Perfect in Every Way. *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2016* Great for my service dog. She is a Pitbull Terrier from ARF Pets For Vets, and 65lb female. The large fits her perfectly, and the gerth straps have lots of room for growth. It is definitely built to last. This is my second K-9 vest. The last one was similar, but there was only one gerth strap, and the plastic buckle would unsnap when she was "working." This one also has plastic/synthetic connecters, but they copy the cobra aircraft grade connecter, and are much stronger.
