They slide in and out easily & the weight of the cookbooks keeps them from curling. **Q: Can u use these in a 160º dehydrator?** A: that is a good question. I would presume the plastic mats would interfere with even heating if they didn't melt. I use parchment paper which can handle up to 400F.
