Edible Wild Foods Playing Cards (All Ages) Review: A must have for go bags! - This set of cards not only can pass the time in a fun entertaining traditional game of cards, but doubles as a survival lifesaver of plant knowledge. Handy on a keychain or in the box this is portable and barely takes of any space. Ultimate preppers guide to plants in the best format available. Great bargain for outdoor fun and survival. Durable thick waterproof cards with easy to read print and great visuals. Review: Wild Cards: Edible Wild Food FLASH CARDS - These are great. I admit to reading most of the reviews before purchasing these cards and decided to give them a try. These are great! They came in today and I immediately shuffled through them. They have many of the plants indigenous to my area, which I already knew were useful... but the verbal descriptions of the plant along with the sketch and photograph would make it nearly impossible to mis-identify these edible and otherwise useful plants and flowers. The helpful hints are awesome too and there are many different ways mentioned for their use which I didn't know. The fact that they have actual playing card symbols on the underside is amusing to me more than a frustration, because if I want to PLAY cards I'll bring a deck of playing cards, when I want to identify plants I'll break out the Wild Cards. Do not buy these if you are looking for playing cards that are meant to be playing cards. These are meant to be a survivalist aid, the other markings are nothing more than an amusing and secondary entertainment in a pinch I'm sure. Love the keychain chain that holds them all together because they ARE a slippery bunch, which makes it quite easy to slip through them quickly as you're searching for a specific card. They do not stick together at all like "new playing cards" do. These are really awesome and will be a great tool in any survival/evac kit. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #187,217 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #180 in Card Games (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (744) | | Dimensions | 2.75 x 1 x 3.75 inches | | ISBN-10 | 0880795158 | | ISBN-13 | 978-0880795159 | | Item Weight | 2.31 pounds | | Language | English | | Publication date | May 6, 2002 | | Publisher | U.S. Games Systems, Inc. | ## Images ![Edible Wild Foods Playing Cards (All Ages) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cR7JJux0L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for go bags! *by K***S on March 30, 2024* This set of cards not only can pass the time in a fun entertaining traditional game of cards, but doubles as a survival lifesaver of plant knowledge. They can be used as actual playing cards, or as an indispensable companion on foraging adventures. The deck includes basic ground rules for foraging, and each individual plant/card contains vital identification and safety information. Get one for yourself and your friends! It provides a great excuse to get outside and connect with nature. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2287665-edible-wild-foods-playing-cards-all-ages](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2287665-edible-wild-foods-playing-cards-all-ages) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
