The engine management computer operates the injector by applying an electric current to the injector solenoid winding-this causes the needle valve to open, and allows the pressurized fuel to be atomized into the intake airstream. This original equipment fuel injector has been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors. ## Features - Atomize fuel into the engine's intake manifold or cylinders, as part of the fuel and engine management system - GM-recommended replacement part for your GM vehicle’s original factory component - Offering the quality, reliability, and durability of GM OE - Manufactured to GM OE specification for fit, form, and function ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01IU5F4H0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #249,782 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #345 in Automotive Replacement Fuel Injectors | | Brand Name | GM GENUINE PARTS | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (16) | | Exterior Finish | Machined | | Included Components | Fuel Injector | | Inlet Connection Size | 2.1 inches | | Inlet Connection Type | Flare | | Item Dimensions | 4.3 x 2.1 x 0.9 inches | | Item Type Name | Fuel Injector | | Manufacturer | ACDelco | | Manufacturer Part Number | 12662571 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 24 Month / Unlimited Mile Limited Warranty on parts sold on or after 04/01/18.
