Includes a reverse gear and a deluxe seat with folding armrests and adjustable back. Speed up to 15 mph. Other standard features include a full lighting system (headlight, tail light, brake light, turn signals), side mirrors, speedometer, front & rear braking system, rear basket, locking glove compartment, locking storage under seat, and an anti-theft alarm system which sounds a loud warning and also locks the drive wheels. The EW-36 has 3 large diameter alloy wheels and comes equipped with shock absorbers on all three wheels. It uses a one-piece combined brushless electric motor, rear axle and differential unit like that of the most expensive mobility scooters for nearly zero maintenance. The electric brake assistant system, with parking brake and reverse switch provides the safety standards that you can rely on. The EW-36 is a great scooter for both fun and reliable transportation. The EW-36 is fully assembled, inspected and tested before it is shipped to you! Then, it is securely strapped in the upright position to a wooden pallet and bubble-wrapped. Because of injury my ability to walk is very limited and the scooter gave me back the ability to get around at parks, events, etc. I also love the fact it is not like one of the typical grocery store grandmas scooter, it looks great, it handles great, and when needed it will just down right fly, almost 25 MPH in right condition. Depending on the setting I choose it will just inch around in tight areas or as I said get up and fly. The advertised speed was off by about 4 mph (slower). It was an awesome ride with beautiful weather for the first time in weeks. I went about 16 miles and only used less than 1/4 charge. Plenty of power the entire ride even with mild rises. Very comfortable, but the shocks could be better. I found myself yelling wahoooo! It was nice being able to just get out and go. It even kept my mp3 player and cell charge the entire time with the included charge plugin adapter. Great buy and highly recommend for all us disabled persons.
