Review: Works with WDF-24, some labor included - I have an Emerson CR500 that has been seldom used but the stock thermostat has been discontinued for awhile. I made a leap of faith with this item after seeing another review here say they had to shave the ground connector thinner. I happened to expand the female connection with needle nose pliers and crimped it back on to accommodate the bigger connection on the ground and it has been working like new.

The connector for the green wire does not match the Emersion CR500. I trimmed off about .040" with a dremel and worked fine. The original thermostat model for Emersion CR500 is WDF24 which cannot be found any more
