I've used this down to 13° so far. It does what it's supposed to keeps the block warm enough to eliminate any hard starting. Not warm enough to completely heat your coolant, but if it's not super windy or very very cold when you start your truck, with this plugged in, you'll see your coolant temp just above the cold line.In about 4 hours this thing reaches its Max heating ability so no need to have plugged in longer. Although I have left it plugged in overnight with zero issues.
