Which is right next to my light fixture.I did the best job I could and I used a putty knife to smooth out the big blobs I put it on there. It looks pretty good so far.And I have to give a shout out to Amazon for great customer service. I'm a big fan.February 9, 2017 It arrived stuck in the can and will not spray again after one small spray. Perfect for small patches. *by D***B on July 22, 2020* This worked exactly as expected. I had some popcorn texture fall from the ceiling in two 5x5 inch places. I would by no means ever use this for large patches of area or for an entire ceiling. It was a little bit messy but nothing that couldn’t easily just be wiped away from the walls or a solid floor like tile or wood. I would remove anything from the area you didn’t want to get messy like rugs and photos, anything textural/textiles. You will have some spray fall down in you so be aware. I just stood out from under and extended my arm and had no issue. It’s by no means perfect but is popcorn ceiling really perfect to begin with?
