I thought they would be minuscule and not fun to play with. I was wrong and so glad that my order went through instead of being cancelled. When opened up they are about 5-6 inches across, a perfect size to fiddle with. I initially planned to give one to my son and make the rest presents, but my husband opened all of them and we both found ourselves twirling them around while watching TV! The colors are lovely and bright, the product seems sturdy. Some had mentioned it as a potential choking hazard for those under 2 - for ours at least the links were extremely tight and would be very difficult for a child to separate one off, my two year old has been playing with it all week and hasn't made any move to pull it apart (I don't even think he knows it does that and would think to yank on it). Highly recommend, great stocking stuffer or gift!
