Review: Really versatile cooker - Have to say that I am really pleased with the Ninja Foodi. I have had a Philips Air Fryer for a couple of years and found that really useful though, despite what the makers say, it was a little difficult to clean. I have seen adverts for the Ninja Foodi and decided to splash out on one. I have yet to explore all the features but I have used the pressure cooker option to make soup and the steam option to cook some vegetables and they worked really well. I have also used the air crisper to cook hand made potato wedges as well as frozen chops and fish fillets. All the things cooked using the crisper were excellent and so much quicker than using my oven - because the Foodi is that much smaller it warms up quicker and also cooks quicker. It is also very easy to clean - the man bowl is non stick and cleaning is a doddle. The air fryer basket is also non stick and is again easy to clean. I really like the fact that the device that ensures that the hot fat laden air circulates around the cooking food is actually a plastic four bladed widget that clips onto the bottom of the basket. It unclips quickly and so cleaning it and the basket separately is a doddle and there are no traps for the grease to linger and then burn on when you use the crisper the next time. The summary of my experience so far - this was an excellent purchase and I look forward to exploring its features and cooking more and more things in it. It goes without saying that I have sold the Philips Air Fryer as it was totally redundant - very useful but now surplus to requirements :-)
Review: Best purchase I've made in my life - When I first bought this, I was super excited to use it, especially the steam, pressure cook & air crisp (air fry) feature and I was blown away. Men, you no longer need your wives (unless you cook), women, you can take a break from slaving over the stove and parents, this is so simple, your kids can use it. I first cook a beef burger and some chips in this, using the 'air crisp' feature on about 190 for 10 minutes and my goodness, the chips came out crispy and perfect, the burger was fully cooked inside and out, no red or pink bits at all. I then made some chicken nuggets for dinner and these were vegan nuggets that were done in 5 minutes, though they need about 15 minutes in my oven. Be warned though, when you first use it, there will be a warm plastic/metal type smell, but this is completely normal and goes away after the first use, it is nothing to worry about at all and doesn't affect the taste or smell of your food in any way, shape or form. I can't go longer than 24 hours without using this machine and it comes with an instruction manual, a recipe book and a leaflet on what foods cook best in what mode and it comes with a metal steaming rack and a steaming lid. If I ever want something quick after work, I know I can count on my 9-in1 Foodi. The only con is that I can't both air crisp beef or chicken and vegetable because it would make the vegetables dry, but perhaps pressure cooking or steaming vegetables, setting them aside and then air crisping, roasting or grilling the vegetables are the way to go for a tasty meal. - Just some things to make note of. I've attached some pictures to my review also.

**Q: I live alone is it worth getting for 1 person**
A: I live by myself, and own the max.  Bulk stews, soups etc which can be decanted into containers it's perfect and fast.  I've replaced my cooker with this. Baked items, meats etc are great. Removes the requirement to use a large cooker for 1 person. 7 litres of stew from raw ingredients to serve, 55 minutes, with beef falling apart.

**Q: Ninja Foodi Max can be replace for the deep fat fryer? And what is the maximum weight for a roast chicken?**
A: The Ninja Foodi is an air fryer amongst other things and many foods traditionally cooked in the deep fat fryer can cooked in the Foodi without the fats, but, some dishes require deep fat frying so the Foodi cannot replace the deep fat fryer totally.
As for the size of the chicken I would suggest one that allows for the circulation of hot air around it so that it cooks evenly, probably a medium sized chicken would be best and would be adequate for a family of four. Trial and error is the way to go on many things.

**Q: does it has a hallogen element?**
A: No the Ninja does not have this element.  Its very easy to clean no fuss,  Highly recommend this product.

**Q: Can this also replace a Rice cooker? If yes How do you cook rice in this?**
A: Hi! Can replace a rice cooker. Check the book is coming with the cooker.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm converted. Fantastic device and saves a lot of money for me

Firstly, I'm a single man, I live alone and I'm a bit of a foodie. Having researched a number of air-friers I decided on the Ninja mainly through feedback from friends. I probably used my oven 5 times a week and hob 6 -7 days a week. Now I have switched both off at the socket and I only use the hob for fried eggs maybe once a fortnight, as the Ninja isn't that good at cooking eggs. It's a revelation, honestly. Being able to cook a perfect sunday dinner in less than an hour. Using the juices from the meat to steam the veg is marvelous. Use the juices to make gravy means virtually no waste at all. So far I've used the pressure cooker, steam, air-fry, grill and slow cook functions and they all work perfectly. It makes amazing toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes. Steaks cooked to perfection, joints of meat can be pressure cooked for 10 - 15 minutes and finished off with air crisp with roast potatoes, then steam the veg. Sausages and bacon cook beautifully and with 2 different heat settings for slow cooking you can time hotpots or cheaper cuts of meat to perfection. Can't recommend it enough. However, you ned to commit to using it instead of your hob and oven and you'll see the savings in electricity use and enjoy better flavours,
