I bought this unit after trying a set of two Chinese regulators, neither one worked out of the box. Paid for this unit what I paid for the other two, no regrets the difference is abysmal. You get what you pay for. Review: Gauge is a bit to small - Works as it should with excellent regulation. Only reason I knocked off one star was because of the gauge size. I usually run my spray gun at 18 PSI which is hard to read on the small gauge. Once dialed in, it does well maintaining that pressure. I always base the pressure on my test spray so it's really not that big of a deal. . Update: well I have managed to blow it up. It's been giving me good service for about a year and a half. I suspect that the malfunction was primarily because I left my compressor set to 95 psi and this regular just can't handle it. I'm going to buy another one and place a big red dot on it to remind me not to exceed 40psi at the tank.
