Review: I LOVE chocolate brewer's yeast powder!!! - This stuff tastes so good to me, and it does give a boost of energy. I am not lactating, I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 8 (so far), but I saw this stuff and just had to try it. I have a hard time digesting regular yeast, but, on the theory that cocoa powder makes milk more digestible, and in the hope that I would be able to eat this, I had to try it. Wow!! So glad I did. Now I have it on subscription, and am eating it twice a day. And it really helps. Brewer's yeast is not just for increasing milk supply, it has great benefits for everybody and has been used for literally thousands of years as a medicine to improve health. I'm afraid I'll run out before my subscription comes in, so I am buying another package right now. There is a mild taste of yeast in drinks prepared with this, but the predominant flavor is chocolate. It mixes very well and quickly in warm water, dissolves fully a little more slowly in cold milk, and is good in coffee too. Chocolate really reduces the yuck factor in yeast. And the benefits in how you feel, your energy (and good for skin, too) make this a wonderful and very desirable product.

Something to keep in mind but the product itself is great.

Yes, this does work. At least it definitely worked for me to increase my supply. Flavor is good although it does strongly taste like artificial sweetener. This powder actually tastes good! I don’t really know what I was expecting, but I thought this wasn’t going to taste very good. I used this in a recipe for lactation balls and they’re very good! (Photo included is recipe) I added more oats and skipped the flaxseed. Within a week, I’ve noticed a difference in my milk production. I was lucky to pump 13oz a day while nursing and now I can get 17-20oz and still nursing. Great stuff!
