My 15 year old scar has finally stopped itching. *by K***I on August 8, 2016* My wife absolutely loves vitamin E. She has bought so many vitamin e oil products, I thought I'd get her a bottle of some really premium pure organic vitamin e this time. Since we got it, I've been using it a lot as I have a really bad scar from a work accident 15 years ago that still itches today when the air gets extra dry or the skin in that area gets irritated. I've heard that vitamin e oil can reduce even the size of an old scar, so I'm eager to see if it will work on this old injury. I've been told to get something that is of really high quality and use something that is easier to apply rather than squeezing some of those gel pills. I am glad that I choose to use this one!My scarred area is already less irritating and I am trying it on other dry/irritated areas. This summer has been brutal in Southern California, so I've been getting the occasional heat rash as well. I'm not sure if this will work, but I am eager to try it as it seems to be helping with so many other skin irritations.Although I am typical guy that usually doesn't care that wrinkles are starting to appear with my white hairs, I am going to try adding this to my more "wrinkly" areas of my face. Typically, I'd say that normal Vitamin e oil scents are just not anywhere near my nose, but this product doesn't have any scent. Perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for preventing scar tissue formation post-surgery *by A***. on September 21, 2016* I am using this product post-surgery to prevent scar tissue from forming and help heal stronger skin. So far I'm pretty happy with it. It smells a bit like olive oil (obviously, as that's pretty much the main ingredient) but I don't mind the smell.It's a pretty green-amber color and it is silky and rich without being oily. It will leave skin feeling slick - like it will be obvious some oil was used - but not greasy or slimy.I won't be able to speak for whether or not it moisturizes the skin or gets rid of scars because I am using it internally after a gynecological surgery per my surgeon's recommendation, so it's not exactly something where my husband will rave about my soft skin :) Still, it does what I need it to do and is organic, which is a huge plus since this area cannot become irritated or inflamed.I do feel that this bottle will last me a long time.I do wish the dropper were more capable of containing the oil when held vertically - sometimes droplets will drip out even when you're not squeezing the top, which can make a mess.
