This is an excellent resource to use for teaching spelling and decoding skills and word families. I don't know why schools do not use this!!! I use this in my class and I use this with my 4 year old (Level K for him) as well as my 6 year old daughter. Students can notice spelling patterns in words, then see them in books and use them in writing. I make copies and use them as word work centers.
