Review: Save a few bucks over Tesla's price - Operation is equivalent to the Tesla adapter, except for the tightness of the fit on the 1772. Takes a fair amount of pressure to release it - more than the Tesla. Also fits tight in the charging port, but that's a good thing. If you tend to forget your adapter, this is a good buy. I hope they make a workable Combo adapter soon.

**Q: Why is this $87.99 and only supports 60amps and doesn’t fit well, when you can get an authentic 80amp one for $50 off Tesla’s website?**
A: Because, up until recently, the one from Tesla website costs $95

**Q: Looking for ccs connector for tesla, i want to be able to charge my tesla on ccs station but i need the connector, anyone know where i can get it?**
A: Actually Tesla recently announced a ccs to Tesla connector for South Korea.   There is talk that it may come to the North American market at some point soon.

**Q: Mixed answer below to-can this work in reverse.  can i take my home tesla plug, attach this adpter and charge my vw id4?**
A: No.  This will ONLY fit a J1776 EVSE equipment, so you can charge a Tesla vehicle.  It cannot work in reverse.  This is why I have not installed Tesla equipment.

**Q: Can i use it on the other way ? example to charge my chevrolet volt ? when i have the tesla car**
A: No the Volt or Bolt etc has a J1772 connection for level2 charging. The only car that’s different is the Tesla that needs the adapter. Mark
