I need to wash it still but it looks like a quick hand washing will do the job. My only complaint is that I can't use three fingers in the cup handle to pick it up. To solve this problem, I mix one cup of oatmeal and one cup of water in the evening and stir. The liquid is absorbed into the oats over night.
