The first was installed by a security company. The other 2 were self-installed. This thing is easy to program. I installed the cellular component. It took my remote monitoring company a while to recognize it, but we were successful. I never have installed Z-wave but it is something I would consider. I’ve had this particular panel for about 3 years. It functions great. I have not had to replace the battery but expect to need that soon.I only upgraded to this because a lightning strike took out my previous system. I don’t expect to need to upgrade again anytime soon unless I get hit again. This is a solid, easily adaptable system. Definitely need patients and in all fairness the monitoring company had to help me with activating the gsm module, but that is to be expected since it needs to be registered with them. Only have it for a day, installed and programmed zones. So far so good. Appears to be another well made quality product from honeywell.Lot of options to learn, but basic zone registering was pretty straightforward and alarm is working and doing as it should.
