It has a top that velcros shut so it can be kept neat and clean. It has a waterproof inside so if wet things or drinks are put in it and they aren't empty nothing wil leak out. It is a neat color the camp is nice and bright and it looks perfect in my car. It hooks in nicely and does a great job. We had been using the door map pockets to store our trash until we got this carbage bag. The bag was very easy to install with the head rest strap and longer adjustable seat strap that hooks under the seat back. The bag is easy to reach from the driver seat when installed on the back of the passenger seat. Mine did not come with the yellow trash bags that others have mentioned but I reused a plastic grocery bag for a trash liner. The Velcro closure on the top works well without a liner bag but with a bag the "keep it clean" has to stay open.
