I was using an American Crew pomade knock-off, Trend Starter, I believe is the name. And that one was very good. But this one become my favorite hair product ever. Very flexible and accomodating. It's the most natural feeling I've ever used (and I've used plenty of brands). Great for middle-length hair and for parting/combing your hair and giving good definition without your hair feeling glued. The shine is nice and natural and stays in place for most of the day. Can be brushed off with your fingers for an even more natural finish, and then touched up with a little more if you remove too much. Has to be touched up every now and then if you nee to placate too much volume. Really nice product. Minus one star because I'm not crazy about the smell.
