I want to set it and forget it. Also what's the power consumption like?** A: Quite low on power consumption... no notable difference in bill. Running continuously in studio bedroom area two years. I have 15 cu ft size. Tips: It will ice up inside. Be prepared to chip at or use a hair dryer every week or so to defrost. It also will have condensation in bottom. Make sure whatever is sitting at the bottom has a metal or plastic container. Paper will likely fall apart if it gets soaked. My regret: I thought 15 cu ft would be big enough. Should have gone "deeper" and larger. The 15 cu ft is just a little too shallow in depth to hold a carryout styro container usually 9" square. So I constantly have to repack any leftover food. ( I am not being weird keeping left over food in a studio bedroom. My main fridge is in the main house garage and with others sleeping early, I don't want to wake them.
