As others have mentioned, the display is very bright, even on the lowest setting. I got around that by getting a $1.99 smartphone privacy screen and cut it to fit the display. For the price paid, it is a good value.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Great Clock, WAY too Bright!

I bought this clock as a Christmas gift for my husband. He's a fan of fun gadgets and he needed a new alarm clock so I thought, why not? The voice activation works very well and is a very cool feature. The back light, however, is entirely too bright and we had to send the clock back! Very bummed. I read that there was a dimmer option for 3 different levels so I thought it wouldn't be an issue. The 3 "different" levels are all identical though and it doesn't dim the back light AT ALL. Our bedroom is usually very, very dark but this clock make it seem like we have a small lamp on and that's a no-no. Back it goes and the search for a new alarm clock continues...
