I was pleasantly surprised! The first time I laid on it I thought there is no way I am going to be able to lay on this for any amount of time. The relaxing feeling and calmness that comes after the minutes go by is strangely satisfying. I prefer to lay it on my bed so there is a little more give, but my husband also uses it and prefers to lay it on the floor. I think the pillow is a must, it feels so good on the neck and back of the head.
